ASCE South Carolina Section invites you to join them as they reveal South Carolina’s first Infrastructure Report Card. Encourage your staff and colleagues to take part!
The Report Card for South Carolina’s Infrastructure is designed to educate lawmakers, the media, and the public about the vital role infrastructure plays in our state. South Carolina’s civil engineers assign grades according to the following eight criteria: capacity, condition, funding, future need, operation and maintenance, public safety, resilience and innovation. Using a simple A to F school report card format, the 2021 Report Card for South Carolina’s Infrastructure will provide a comprehensive assessment of current infrastructure conditions and needs and make recommendations for how to raise the grades. We expect to provide policymakers and decision-makers with recommendations to improve the overall health of our infrastructure and improve the quality of life of all South Carolinians.
